A psion who masters
Attack Phasing can manipulate their telekinetic attacks at long
distance, allowing them to become intangible for a short moment
and sometimes even change directions before becoming real once
again.

There are three levels
of Attack Phasing, each level entailing greater skill and
requiring completion of the previous level before learning it.
Attack Phasing Level
1 (CTN 39a) - Permits any non-technique telekinetic attack to
become intangible for two feet, passing dimensionally through
obstacles harmlessly, before reappearing again. Attacks are not
permitted to reform inside characters (this applies to all levels
of this technique). Each attack may only phase like this once.
Requires 60
(45/75)
tech days.
Attack Phasing Level
2 (CTN 39b) - Intangibility may now range between the original
two feet and ten feet. Also, upon reformation, the user may
reorient the attack in any direction, so long as it is in the same
form as it was when it phased out. Each attack may phase like this
twice. Requires 75
(56/94)
additional tech days.
Attack Phasing Level
3 (CTN 39c) - Intangibility becomes potentially indefinite,
though the lower limit of two feet remains. The user gains the
additional ability to manipulate the momentum of the attack while
it is phased out, causing it to move any amount slower than
original speed, or up to 50% faster than normal by siphoning
damage at a rate of 2 PL of damage lost for every 1 PL of speed
gained. Such siphoning is irreversable, and cannot be performed
more than once per attack. It is possible to phase out an attack
and have it reappear as a perfectly still ball of mass. Attacks
may be phased as often as desired, but no more than once per post.
Users who are also proficient in the CT "TK Hone" may
change the form of their attack while phasing to anything else
within their ability without the consumption of a psi slot.
Requires 100
(75/125)
additional tech days.
