With this, a ki fighter can command a degree of steering over his/her technique, making it more difficult to dodge and harder to predict.

T E C H N I C A L - S P E C I F I C A T I O N S

Manipulation is applied to any stream or projectile-based ki attack. The character may then use a portion of a post to steer that attack away from its normal path. This cannot be applied to any technique that issues more than one projectile or stream. This upgrade is repeatable, for increasing the quickness of steering commanded, as follows:

• Level 1: Permits turning up to 45 degrees per post.
• Level 2: Permits turning up to 90 degrees per post. (Right angle turns)
• Level 3: Permits turning up to 180 degrees per post. (Hairpin turns)
• Level 4: Permits nearly freeform turning capabilities.

Keep in mind that the number of degrees expressed in each level represents an entire post spent concentrating on the attack, excluding all other actions for Ki for that post. Less time spent concentrating results in proportionately smaller turns.

This technique costs 45 (34/56) tech days per iteration.
