Ki fighters can lay mine fields, or surprise their opponents with this upgrade, which causes its projectile to explode when an enemy entity comes too close.

Proximity Blast may be applied to any projectile-based ki attack with explosive properties, including techs with multiple projectiles. It causes the projectile to explode when any energy is detected within 3 feet of it, and extends the blast radius of the tech by that much (however, if the technique already has a given rate for blast rate expansion, this does not expand the blast size -- it must be done separately). This upgrade is repeatable 9 times, for a total of 30 feet of proximity detection and blast extension.

This technique costs 30 (22/38) tech days per iteration.
