Despite the broad notion that all people with physical powers are experts at martial arts, there are some who are much more adept at it, finding key places to strike where some would blindly charge, and mastery of body mechanics in close combat. This technique reflects true mastery of hand to hand combat.

T E C H N I C A L - S P E C I F I C A T I O N S

Once trained, the tech will cause normal, unarmed, hand to hand (non-tech) combat from the character to any opponent(s) within 10 feet to be enhanced. It may be continued on to further levels, for those desiring further benefits. The details for each level of training in this tech is detailed below.

In order for the above effects to take place in any part of battle, the following criteria must be met:

  • No weapons or armor (like shields) that could impede or alter hand-to-hand combat may be wielded by the user.

  • Opponents must be within 10 feet of the user, both for offense and defense effects. This means that people being shot at with projectiles from a distance will not be able to use this tech to defend against it.

  • Effects are halved if affected opponent(s) or their attacking effects are not humanoid.

  • Effect only works on the user's body, and ONLY the user's body, not anything affected by, effected by, or connected to the body.

  • No effect is given to ranged attacks made by the user, including characters whose races have projectiles built into their bodies.
